Another Fly-by Posting
Could I possibly be busier? Probably, yes.
Here's some more navel-gazing from the life of the Amester and her trusty sidekick, Mr. WuvWuv.
Elvis had to go to the vet for the day yesterday. Poor guy. But he was such a good kitty. The vet's office even used him to try out a new lancet for drawing blood at home. I can buy the machine and kit and do it myself instead of dragging him in there every so often. They said he didn't even flinch so I might have to get it and try it for myself. It's pricey, but will save money - and his stress - in the long run.
I had my favorite snarky friend over for dinner last night and told him about it. He looked at Elvis who was chilling on the couch davenport and said, "Yeah, because you have so much stress in your life, don't you?"
My friend has asked me to do some mending for him, so that will be good motivation for doing some mending of my own. If I get the clothes in my mending pile done, I can greatly increase my wardrobe. He plied me with some great wine and food in return for this favor, so I couldn't really say no. Plus, it's all sewing machine stuff and won't take me over half an hour to do. The trick will be finding those 30 minutes between now and Sunday, when he needs his hockey gear back.
Okay, that's about all that could possibly be interesting right now.
I picked up a couple Ben Folds albums I didn't have and am listening to this song over and over and over. When I find a new song I really like, I usually listen to it constantly until another song catches my ear. And yes, I still call them 'albums', even though they are CDs.
