Cat Radio!
I saw an article in today's paper about a local guy and his cats who run an all-cats, all-the-time internet radio station.
He also works with Greater Phoenix cat charities to promote spay/neueter and adoption programs.

Also - there's a feature on the Scottsdale Fire Department, where fine firefighters like Hottie McHotHot saves KITTEHS!
