Schedule Challenged = Resolution Challenged-er
If were really smart, I would skip the resolution challenge for this week because:
Tonight: Art Museum Exhibit Opening Member Cocktail Party. I upped my membership one level and am already getting invited to swankier parties than I did when I was at the Rabble General Membership level. I would have kicked in that extra $25 years ago had I known about the free booze! This is my personal invite, but I could count it as work, too. Bonus!
Tomorrow night: Church council meeting. This is my last year on council, which will be GREAT when I'm done in June. I'm only the Social Chair and you wouldn't think it would be too hard for me. The thing is, my schedule is already so packed I don't feel like adding more events. Events that I need to organize. Bah.
Wednesday: Band rehearsal
Thursday: Theater tix to one of our edgier companies, Stray Cat. The show is based on 1950's lesbian pulp fiction. Should be pretty interesting, if not a ton of fun.
Friday: Zoo Brew - featuting FLOCK OF SEAGULLS! Totally rad. Totally.
Saturday night: Shakespeare tix, but was also invited to two parties. I'll probably stick with theater since they are doing Pygmalion. Sure, it's My Fair Lady without the music, but I like George Bernard Shaw.
Sunday: Volunteering at the Tempe Ironman.
Oh - and I may have jury duty on Wednesday. Blech.
So any spare time is going to be devoted to work and getting in my leadership program application. The same application I didn't finish from last week's list. Everything else is finished, so I'm in good shape there.
But just for kicks, let's make it official.
1. Finish leadership program application
2. Get German language CDs from library.
There, now I have something to shoot for. :-P
Have a good week, peeps!

And, uh... yeah... $25 more donation = free booze?!? Good investment! I could drink double that amount in just one night (in fact, I believe I did so on Saturday).
Puhleeze post a review of Stray Cat!
A co-worker went to see the show last week and said it was great. The review in the paper was pretty positive as well. Stray Cat does some funky stuff, and some eh stuff.
I need to up my membership at the Heard Museum and I'm thinking about getting a membership to the Desert Botanical Garden as well. I joked to the executive director that I'd love to be at the DBG during the day for a change. I'm always there for some party or another.
I'm getting 'theater-ed out' this season. I have three different subscriptions but I hate to drop any of them. Stray Cat is easy because I'm only buying one seat for the season for four shows. Some of my friends have bought tickets, too, and you get to pick what night you want to go.
My other tickets are far pricier but I have moved into sweet seats after all these years of renewing. I may keep doing what I've done this year - buy my season tix to help support the companies but be more free on giving them away to people who've helped me out (Elvis' catsitter goes a lot!), or want to go but can't afford it.
Doesn't sound like fun? I can't wait!
