Vox Hunt: It Freaked Me Out!

Comments

OMG. The inbred family on X-files was totally FREAKY. And this--ooohh, I hope I can sleep tonight...between this and the one I posted. [shivers and looks over shoulder]

yeah this little guy was creepy crawling around outside.
When I was little, I had a not-quite-phobia about something watching me through my window. After being old enough to watch 'Rudolf' and know what was going on, I was afraid the A.S. was watching me sleep. But if I didn't look, then I was safe. So when I saw this TZ episode with the Gremlin outside of Shatner's window, I FREAKED. AAAACKCKCKCK!

Home.

Home, PA. that's the X-Files. Everyone remembers that episode. a little bit of incest and back under the bed she goes.

Oh yeah, THAT episode...the two other ones that really freaked me out was the mutant human liver fluke and the creepy Indian fakir guy who stowed away in people's luggage...

I can't even begin to imagine how much fun brothers Ray and Steve had with you at this time...

poor bebeh.

Home, PA is literally right up the road from where I grew up - you can imagine my excitement upon seeing that episode! My aunt was the Post Mistress of the post office, and I had a lot of friends that lived there (it's actually not much of a town, per se - and they certainly wouldn't ever have a black sheriff named Andy Taylor). My high school was in the next town over from Home too. I can also think of lots and lots of families in the area that are scarier than the X-Files one :)
there's a newer version for that Twilight Zone clip, right?

I believe that I watched the Peacock Family/X Files episode three times before I let myself realize what was going on. When Scully says "Oh my God.", you know you're in for some deep, unnatural funk.

Ummm, and then I watched it three more times.

When I flew last Wednesday the people behind me were joking about that episode of the Twilight Zone. You don't joke about shit like gremlins right before takeoff - have some respect people!!

That X-Files...ugh...man that one was creepy as hell.

AmyH!!! ME too. This TZ episode in unforgettable. And I was a wee tiny tot when I saw it.
But, LOL, I had no idea that was Capt. Kirk!!! Y'know, that helps a lot. He's cool.

ROFL at Aubrey. Talk about freaky.
The thing that freaks me out most is........AUBREY!!!

*runs away screaming*
Gah, Jaypo! I totally forgot about that X-Files! With the amputee mom on her scooter.
Michelle, I wasn't sure where Home was, but I thought it was somewhere near Lancaster/Harrisburg...you're from Central PA right? Indiana area, or is that more western? I could look at a map but that requires too much effort. :-P
My folks live in Indiana - I grew up 7 miles away, technically. I've always considered it to be more Western PA than Central - it's closer to Pitt than Penn State :)
brrrrrrrr!!
