Who left the heater on?!

My goodness it's hot here. It was chilly and rainy when I left Warsaw and yesterday in Detroit wasn't too bad. But there's a heat advisory for today here in the Valley of the Surface of the Sun.

I'm at work trying to catch up and get my head in gear. It's hard considering my brain thinks it's in another time zone and my body is wiped out from all the air travel. I'm still super stuffed up and I swear I'm pumping out a pound of snot every half hour or so. Nice, eh?

Took the 7:05 out of Detroit this morning (4:05 a.m. AZ time for anyone keeping score at home). Landed local time 8:30, Good Buddy Dave picked me up and deposited me at Casa Amy y Elvis. Mr. Wuv Wuv was well taken care of while I was gone and super duper happy to see me. Yay!

Dumped the clothes in the hamper for laundry, took a nap with the cat, then showered (without the cat) and here I am. I have my leadership institute interview this afternoon so hopefully I can sound coherent by then.

I have tons of pics and tons of stories, so I'm glad it's a three-day weekend coming up with nowhere to go.
