Since Arbed scooped my usual daily post of Savage Chickens, and I don't feel like posting pics of me in my sweet Great White North headware collection (now I have a toque and an umbrella hat!), here's my salute to my neighbors to the North, courtesy of Cakewrecks!
"The finger hole was the result of an over-eager guest, but that "leaf" is pure Wreckerator skill at work. Kinda looks like a monster on a Popsicle stick, doesn't it? Eh?"
And a salute to the National Fabric:
Have a great one, my Canadian Friends!
(Everyone else should have a great day, too!)
Show us a picture of your favorite cake.
For this question, I had to go over to Cake Wrecks and find the cake topped with naked babies riding carrots.
I couldn't even make it that far before being blinded by tears of laughter.
Great finds all, but I really had to post these two pics.
Whoops, they didn't come out to big. Might want to click to see better.
Beautiful and unique cakes are also posted:
... but the awful ones are the best.
EDIT!!!!
Okay, I really couldn't let go of the babies and carrots until I posted them:
Naked Mohawk-Baby Carrot Jockeys - This cake is so disturbing, I'm almost glad the picture doesn't include the whole thing. The plastic clone babies wearing naught but mohawks are bad enough, but then they're also riding carrots. What do you do with that? It looks like some kind of perverted vegetable rodeo, or maybe a bizarre clone military exercise, what with their little plastic fists raised high in identical salutes.
And what kind of occasion calls for a "naked babies riding carrots" decor, anyway? No, wait, maybe I don't want to know...
